Is the Park and Lodging open year-round?
Bryce Canyon National Park is open year-round; however, Bryce Canyon Lodge is only open seasonally from April 1st through October 31st.

What should I expect the weather to be?
Summer days at Bryce Canyon National Park are enjoyable with temperatures lying between 73° - 80°F. The nights get cold dipping into the mid 30°'s to low 40°'s. Afternoon thundershowers are a common occurrence halfway through the summer season. During the spring and fall the weather varies. Winters are cold dropping into sub-zero temperatures. The yearly snowfall is around 100 inches.
Since the sun can burn year-round in high altitude, wearing long sleeves, hats and sunscreen is recommended. We also recommend Layered clothing to protect against the plateau's temperature extremes and common powerful winds.

Is there cell phone service?
There is limited to no cell phone coverage.
Is there a business center?
We do no offer a business center.
Is there an entrance fee to enter the Park?
The National Park Service currently charges $25 per private vehicle at the entrance gate. When entering by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or commercial vehicles the fee will vary. Please visit the National Park Service Web site for the most current fee information.
Where is the nearest location to get fuel?
Approximately 1/2 mile outside of the park.
How far in advance can I make lodging reservations?
We are currently accepting reservations for stays up to 13 months in advance. On the first of each month, we will begin accepting reservations for the entire month of the following year. For example, on March 1, 2008 we will accept reservations through March 31, 2009. For more information, please review our Reservation Overview page.
Do I need dining room reservations?
Reservations are required for dinner only. They can be made directly with the dining room by calling, 435-834-8760. Reservations can be made two months in advance after Bryce Canyon Lodge opens April 1.
Reservations are not required for breakfast or lunch.
Do you have a waitlist for room reservations?
We do not offer a waitlist.
Since you don't have a waitlist, should I check back every day for a cancellation?
Cancellations do occur; however, they can occur at random with limited success in obtaining the dates and accommodations desired. If your first choice is not available, rather than scheduling your vacation around the possibility of a cancellation, we recommend checking alternate dates instead. If you want to continue to check for cancellations, you may do so by visiting our Check Availability - Book Online page.
Why can't I find my reservation through the Web site reservation system?
Currently our online reservation system will only allow modifications or cancellations to reservations booked initially on our Web site.
Can I cook in my room?
Cooking is not allowed in any of the guestrooms or cabins at Bryce Canyon Lodge.
Can I keep my pet in my room?
Pets are not allowed in any of the guestrooms or cabins at Bryce Canyon Lodge.
